Jack of All Trades – Maintenance & Guide

Seasonal / Full-Time / Mid-November–March
Working hours: Variable shifts between 07:00–22:00

This is a hands-on role combining maintenance work with light guest guiding. You’ll be responsible for keeping the property functional, beautiful, and safe during the Arctic season, from snow clearing and small repairs to helping with guest activities and transfers. You’ll also occasionally support in practical runner-style duties across departments.

We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, practical, and not afraid of physical work. Someone with a good attitude and strong work ethic, who takes pride in getting things done.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks (indoors and outdoors, in the spa area)
• Handle snow work (paths, roofs, firewood, heating systems)
• Drive guests or goods between locations when needed
• Support or lead guest-facing nature activities (e.g. outdoor lunch setup, ice fishing, snowshoeing & cross-country skiing)
• Assist with runner tasks like deliveries, setups, or last-minute errands

Requirements:

• Good basic knowledge of tools, maintenance, and physical work
• Driver’s license (B required, BE preferred)
• Experience with snowmobiles and winter vehicle handling
• Comfortable in outdoor work and Arctic weather
• Familiarity with Finnish nature customs (ice fishing, fire building, etc.)
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• English required; Finnish or other languages a plus
